I live in Belize with my partner, and because of the hurricane there is a curfew at night. Last night one of my friends (I’ll call him Lex) called me so we could pickup his potential date who had been stranded in town because of the curfew. Lex could not meet the guy that night and asked us to host the guy at our house until this morning when he would be able to get out of the house. Well my partner and I risked getting pulled by cops and met this guy who is utterly gorgeous, and has the most stunning green eyes. The guy (Levi) was upset at being left to his own after traveling for miles to meet Lex, but he was grateful for our help. Anyways, my partner and I started talking to him over vodka drinks, and one thing led to another and we ended up having a threesome with the guy. I mean he is gorgeous. We got drunk, had sex, and we slept huddled up. Lex showed up early this morning and found us sleeping naked and hugging each other. Does anybody think we are bad friends?
Well Lex had not met the guy yet. They had only talked through the chat. It was sort of a blind date so Lex did not really have any emotional attachment to the guy except that he was hoping to get into Levi’s pants. Levi had travelled 54 miles to come see Lex and Lex did not even show up till the following day. I know that’s not justification, but it was just something that happened. Lex did not seem too upset, but I think he was playing it cool. I do feel guilty
I want to take my wife on a vacation that will be quite the experience. With that said, I am not looking at staying in a fancy hotel in the middle of “tourist town” surrounded by American franchises. I could stay home and see that. I have looked into Belize, spending one week in the jungle, one on the cayes, and one near the city (checking out Mayan ruins). I have found websites with hotels (in the loosest sense of the word) for cheap, as well as cheap airfare.
Since looking on Yahoo! Answers, some say that Belize is actually quite expensive. Is there somewhere else I should be looking for a cheap tropical experience? Perhaps more south, or even the northern end of South America?
Let me add a little information that will help. I have to be on “vacation” for about a month. Technically, I just can’t enter the United States otherwise I lose tax exempt status. So I am looking for a cheap place to stay for a month until I can go back to the US.
For 30 days, not including airfare, I want to stay under US$ 4000. I figure I should easily be able to pick up hotel costs for under US$1500. That leaves $2500 for food, travel, events, sightseeing, etc. Keep in mind that I want to split this vacation up into three areas: jungle, mainland, cayes.

I got the two tickets already. You’ll need about $ 300 bucks for your own spending money. I’m cruising out of Miami on January 29th and then I’m going to jump ship in Cozumel and hang out for the winter ( a month or so ) snorkelling, fishing, and chilling out. Go down into Belize, explore the area a bit then head back up north by teco bus ( mexican bus ) to the Texas border and rent a car to go back home. I could let you off at that time at the airport or a greyhound. If you live in the South I could drive ya home. I’m bring a small backpack with just a few things, and my bicycle disassembled in a lrg suitcase. You have to do this too. I like biking from town to town. I got this all figured out if you want to go.. I’m SWM 29.. adventurous, and in good shape. Chance of a lifetime. Lets have fun!
