Anyone know someone who robbed on the hwy to Tikal from Belize?
I am thinking of driving from belize to Tikal from western Belize, for years I have heard people are robbed on the road, I want to know how did it happen. I mean if your in a car why would you stop? If the road was blocked why would you know turned back? I knew a guy who gave me advise he used, if you get robbed hand it over, remember the face go to the next town and offer 50.00 for your stuff and the hands of the kid who stole it delivered to your room, works like a charm!
Break up before or after vacation?
I recently met someone online and we’ve been on five dates. The first two went great, the next three were all so-so: I’d talk and he’d look away, he’d talk and I’d have nothing to say. In the end, I’m just not into him. However, I get the feeling that he really likes me, and that he won’t like it if I tell him I don’t want to see him anymore.
He’s leaving for a vacation to Belize in a few days and I want to know people’s opinion on whether I should tell him I don’t want to see him before he goes or after. Will it just ruin his vacation if I tell him now? Will he be pissed when he comes back from vacation if he didn’t know he could have “fun” with whomever he might have met there?
What do you think?
Wow, I feel validated. So, I actually already did tell this guy that I don’t want to see him anymore (I didn’t want that knowledge to sway the answers) and he was PISSED that I didn’t wait until after he got back from vacation. He told me that he thought it was very disrespectful that I ruined his vacation by dumping him just prior to it.
Glad to know I’m not the only one who feels like it’s worse to lead someone on. Then again, if I had waited, he probably would have been pissed that I didn’t tell him before…
