Specifically, I know Hurricane season is a risk, but any ideas on just HOW risky it will be in early July?
Also, what can we expect with the rainy season? Will it be a non-stop rain storm or is it more like the Midwest: storms like hell for 30 minutes, sun comes out and dries everything out, and then rains like hell again?

My boyfriend and I want to take a trip (about 10-12 days) somewhere in late October. We love beaches, adventure, good food, and just exploring new places. We are kind of leaning towards Costa Rica – but I heard this is the rainy season. thoughts on that or other places to go? We are also considering Hawaii, Cabo, Belize. We live in LA. thanks!

I’m open for suggestions. If you stayed at a particularly great place, let me know. I would totally stay at some nice resort, but I would prefer if it wasn’t like Disney Land on the beach. I’d like some character… How’s sandals? Also, is it still Hurrican Season in mid-November?
I want to visit either belize or honduras in end of August early september. Will it get affected by Hurricane season?
