Do you know of any good resorts to stay at? What kind of things are there to do?

I’m open for suggestions. If you stayed at a particularly great place, let me know. I would totally stay at some nice resort, but I would prefer if it wasn’t like Disney Land on the beach. I’d like some character… How’s sandals? Also, is it still Hurrican Season in mid-November?
Of course, I am sure that excursions like “swimming with the dolphins” are going to cost much more than a regular tour of some place, but I just wanted to get a little idea of how much extra money we’d have to shell out if we wanted to get off the ship at all 4 ports!??
By the way, are scheduled ports of call (pending any hurricanes!!!) are Nassau, Casa Maya, Cozumel and Belize.
And I’ve been to cruisecritic.com which has been very helpful, but I thought I would try this question on here too and see if any of you had any helpful info.
Thanks!

Honeymoon is coming up in October, want to go to Belize but don’t know much about the country and where (region and possible hotels) to stay.
Have been diving all over the world. Looking for unlimited day and night dives, maybe indonesia, melanesia
still a cheapee and freedom lover. do not want to see other flippers, just beautiful fish, flora, fauna and fun.
Roatan, old Belize style would suit my fancy. Is there supreme diving off Perth, Australia?
First week in Sept.?
