Where is the best place to stay in Belize?

We’re planning our honeymoon and are considering staying at Hamanasi. Has anyone ever stayed there?

Has anyone ever been to Belize? What’s it like?

Some1 said like the Caribbeans. We might go there for our honeymoon.

Belize Honeymoon: DAY ONE – Flight to Dangriga

Shortly after our arrival in Belize City, we had to grab a puddle-jumper to Dangriga. It ran over half an hour late because the pilot was taking his lunch. Once aboard though the flight was incredible, and we got a lot of footage. When we got on the plane the pilot didn’t announce anything on the radio, which was a bit strange. So when we landed halfway through the flight we thought we had arrived in Dangriga! But no! Everyone looked at us strangely for attempting to get off the plane, so we got back ON the plane and THEN he made his first announcement! DANGRIGA NEXT — FASTEN YOUR SEAT BELTS! “Well, OK… but if Woody had gone straight to the Police, this would never have happened!”

i’m considering a honeymoon in belize, but i’m worried about the mosquitos…are they really that bad?

…and is it any different in costa rica? (this trip would be in the first week of june)

Las Terrazas Belize Resort Tour Video

Las Terrazas Resort – www.lasterrazasresort.com – is among the newest luxury resorts to be built on the island of Ambergris Caye – one of the most popular tourists destinations in Belize. This new island community and resort is nestled on 4.8 acres of palm-shaded private beachfront property. All townhomes have full kitchens complete with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and are stocked with dishes, glasses, linens and towels. Every residence is fully furnished with modern amenities including flat panel televisions, hand-crafted furniture and luxurious fabrics. Guests to Las Terrazas will enjoy laid-back island vacationing, world-class scuba diving off the largest barrier reef in the Northern Hemisphere. But while the accommodations are luxurious, the atmosphere is casual. The dress of the day is usually shorts and sandals (if you can’t handle being barefoot).
