My soon to be husband and I are going to Belize in April for our honeymoon. We have heard wonderful things about it so far!
I was just wondering if there are any places I should avoid, any activities that I should avoid doing or and other probelms that we might run into while visiting Belize?

Do you know of any good resorts to stay at? What kind of things are there to do?
Honeymoon is coming up in October, want to go to Belize but don’t know much about the country and where (region and possible hotels) to stay.
We eloped and had a legal marriage ceremony in Belize 8 years ago. At the time we were living in CA and when we returned from our honeymoon, we did not file our marriage license from Belize anywhere in the US. Were we required to? I am concerned that we should have and now we are not legally married in the US.

My wife and I had our honeymoon in Belize about six years ago. What we enjoyed the most was sitting under the palapa and drinking coconut rum and cokes with this most amazing coconut rum. I’m not much of a drinker, but this stuff is amazing. I have looked all over the place and have had absolutely no luck finding it anywhere. It’s called “Tropical Coconut Rum” and it’s a white rum. Please, if there’s anyone out there that can help me I’d be indebted. Thanks.
