the pharmacist told my friend that he doesnt need to bother with malaria tablets to holiday in Goa, India – so he doesnt take them. i do take them…do i really need to? anybody know?

Is Belize a good place for a family with young children? The trip would be in mid August.?
A friend in the diplomatic corps is being posted to Belize and has invited us to visit. We have two children (10 and 2) and the trip would have to be in August to coincide with vacation. I’m a little concerned that lonely planet et al seem to damn the place with faint praise.
