I am going to go on a 4 or 5 day Carribean Cruise leaving from Fort Lauderdale, has anyone ever taken a carribean cruise from Fort Lauderdale? What do you suggest my port stops should be …Key West, Cozumel, Belize City, Cococay, Georgetown and why?
How long before is the best time to book the room to get the best price?

Of course, I am sure that excursions like “swimming with the dolphins” are going to cost much more than a regular tour of some place, but I just wanted to get a little idea of how much extra money we’d have to shell out if we wanted to get off the ship at all 4 ports!??
By the way, are scheduled ports of call (pending any hurricanes!!!) are Nassau, Casa Maya, Cozumel and Belize.
And I’ve been to cruisecritic.com which has been very helpful, but I thought I would try this question on here too and see if any of you had any helpful info.

Hello to all. I will be going on a cruise November 4-11, 2006 to the Western Carribean (Belize, Cozymel, etc) and need a roommate. Preferably a female roommate as the cruise is called Figure at Sea and is put on by Figure Magazine. Look at www.figuremag.com and under events it will list everything that is going on. It looks like so much fun! With all the taxes and gratuities it’s $920 or so (this includes transportation to and from the airport). Let me know ASAP! Thanks.

I am going on my 3rd cruise in September and I was wondering how many people like them as much as me and my husband do? We are going to Mexico, Hondouras, Belize and Grand Caymen on this one and we’ve also been to St. Thomas and St. Martin, Puerto Rico, Jamacia and Cozumel, Mexico. What did you find good about them and what didn’t you like? Why did you choose a cruise?
