How to go from Chetumal to Belize City?
How to go from Chetumal to Belize City?
i am looking into buying proerty in Belize, specifically Ambergris cay?
I am wondering about crime rates, water clarity,beaches, poverty and standard of living. How expensive are things? How difficult / expensive is it to get supplies from the mainland Given a choice between Ambergris Cay, Placencia and a new development across the bay from Chetumal Mexico whats your opinion. I want a rental income property for now but something that I could perhaps retire to in 20 years. I love the caribbean and wish I could afford something in the Virgin Islands but thats not happening so I figured I would try something on the other side or the Caribbean Sea. Any suggestions, opinions or info would help.

Inexpensive travel within Belize?
I am planning a trip to Belize and want to go to several cities/areas while I am there. I’m planning to fly in to Chetumel, Mexico and go from there. In short, I would like to go from Chetumal –> San Ignacio –> Belize City –> San Pedro/Ambergris Caye –>Corozal –> Chetumal –> Cancun. I have pretty much figured out travel for the end of the trip, (which I can do by taxi/water taxi/bus, after I hit Belize City), but I am having a hard time finding information about how to travel from Chetumal–>San Ignacio–> Belize City without spending a fortune. Does anyone know where i could find info about buses that run between these cities? Or do you know of any other way I could get between the cities that is not too expensive? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!
