Anyone been to Coco Plum Caye or Ian’s Caves Branch lodge in Belize?

Can’t decide where we want to go for our honeymoon. If you or someone you know has been can you let us know how the trip was.

Thanks for your help….

Cave Exploration in Belize

If walking…..no swimming into a cave with a head lamp and a video camera sounds like a good idea, this video is for you. Mayan pottery, skulls, calcified skeletons, creepy statues, and other freaky things are definitely in this video. Shot 450 feet under Belize at the Actun Tunichil Muknal “ATM” caves. I was wondering were the cash machine was the entire time ;0

“ATM caves” Dimparcio’s photos around San Ignacio, Belize

A TripAdvisor™ TripWow slideshow of a travel blog to San Ignacio, Belize by TravelPod blogger Dimparcio titled “ATM caves” Dimparcio’s travel blog entry: “Happy valentines day…. Its another earlyish start and we tuck into our pre ordered full English brekkie (or at least Belizean equivalent) at 7 am ready to depart at 7:30… I am not overly jovial at this early hour when we had the choice of departure time but I bow to everyone else’s eagerness and later in the day I am glad I did so… Tim, Doreen, Stefanie and myself are making the trip, I waste precious more minutes of my life wondering why some of the others came on this Gap trip since they never do any of the activities?? We pick up 2 Americans, Scott and his daughter Grace and head on out to the ATM caves. It is a bumpy journey, the bumpiness magnified by having a flat tyre; we stop to fix the tyre but no one has the right spanner for the wheel nuts so we carry on the caves arriving with a tyre in absolute tatters — ah well : this is Belize and you learn to just go with it!! It’s a 30 — 40 minute hike from where we ark to the entrance to the caves, I must say our guide looks far more the part then we do with his combat trousers, rucksack and even larger machete — but us townies manage ok and we soon get to the cave entrance…. Wow; the entrance itself is impressive as we enter into the water and swim into the cave…. This is only a taste of what is to come. After swimming, wading, walking and clambering
