Packing video for a 20 day trip to Belize and Mexico in December. Suggested packing list for those interested in packing light, while experiencing the backpacker/hostel culture in Belize an Mexico. Packing goal was to pack light and to keep things to two small carry on friendly bags allowing me to save money while avoiding the risks of lust luggage and announce of surplus fees for checked baggage.

Is there any hospedajes, or hotels without cable tv, pools, and drunk kiddies? I am 30, a backpacker, and am in search of a good time in mexico/ belize without spending my life savings. I would like a roof, and maybe some coffee / tea in the morning… do you know a few places around mexico like that? I have traveled extensively in central america, and not afraid of a few mosquitoes, sand flies, freezing showers, long hot bus rides etc.

In Feb me and my husband (we are in our early 20s) are going to Belize and then thinking our backpacking to Guatamala for a month. Anything to know…anything to do or avoid???
I will be heading to Belize in about a month and was looking for suggestions of places to go, see, and stay. Nothing too pricey. Maybe with a nice beach to relax on.
