Getting use to getting on the horse, the bouncing and controlling the horse. They have a tendency to go where they want sometimes.

well, horses can be very intimidating because of their size, but if you get a well-trained horse then you should relax…i am sure that trail ride horses are very accustomed to having tourists on them, and you probably won’t be doing any wrangling or roping with your horse, so you won’t be riding very hard at all…you might want to practice some stretching of your legs because no matter how long the ride, you will probably be a little bit sore in your hind end and inner thighs…i would advise you to be confident and relaxed, if you get too tense, then the horse will sense that immediately, and you might be in for a rough ride…good luck and enjoy the cruise…

Just expect it to be wobbly.
You shouldn’t get sore as such but you may have achey legs afterwards.
Don’t wear a thong !

Find a riding stable near your house/town and go riding a couple times. You will be a bit more comfortable if you get a chance to ride before.
