My soon to be husband and I are going to Belize in April for our honeymoon. We have heard wonderful things about it so far!
I was just wondering if there are any places I should avoid, any activities that I should avoid doing or and other probelms that we might run into while visiting Belize?

belize is a great place to go and visit,I am moving there in a few months for good. April is the high time in belize esp. if it’s during the week of easter. As far as places to avoid I would say anything you can see, while you are there you will absolutly love. the cays or (keys) as it is pronounced are great definitly do some sort or snorkling trip, from ambregris cay there is a tour guide called Searious Adventures they run great tours to practally any place you want to go. There E-mail address is SEArious@btl.net. I would recomend the trip to Hol chain marine park,and shark ray ally, it is like somthing you will never get to experience in your life. Another place to check out is Al tun ha, which is one of the many mayin ruians in Belize, and the jungle spa, they can help you out with this tour also. The belize Zoo is another place to check out it is on of the best zoos to see all the animals that Belize has to offer,it is also voted the best zoo in central america. It isn’t a zoo that you feel sorry for the animals you really get a good sence of the animals and how much they are apprecated and respected by the people of Belize.
There isn’t much crime in Belize just petty crimes but if you are carefull and stick with the tour groups while exploring other parts of Belize you really shouldn’t have any trouble there what so ever. Make sure you book your hotel as early as possible because as I stated earlier april is one of the busiest times in Belize.
